Clark Atlanta University ranks 16th* among the nation's best Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the 2018 U.S. News and World Report “Best Colleges” ranking.  The widely respected index  of the nation’s vast higher education landscape was published on Sept. 12.  The University ranked 18th in the 2017 list.

There are 80 schools ranked in this year's HBCU survey.
